About the role
Acepodia is seeking motivated individuals with a strong interest in developing novel ACC-based cancer therapies. This position will play an important role in executing studies to support pipeline development activities, IND enabling, and donor screening. You will work in a supportive and collaborative crossfunctional environment, with R&D team members across the US and Taiwan Labs.
Education / Background
- B.S. or M.S. in life science-related fields (Immunology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry)
- 2+ years of experience in cancer therapy research (cell therapy-related experience is a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in mammalian cell culture
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Perform primary T cell expansion to generate ACC-based cell products for research and donor screening
- Execute QC tests including cytotoxicity assays for pipeline development
- Conduct flow cytometry-based assay to analyze surface markers of T cells
- Execute qPCR-based analyses to support translational study of clinical trials
- Support routine lab maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements & Experience Relevant Skills & Experience:
- Cytotoxicity analysis and multi-color fluorescence flow cytometry experience in a laboratory setting is required
- Experience in primary T cell expansion/isolation is a plus
- Organization/coordination skills to prioritize the assignments to deliver results timely
- Follow SOPs & lab guidelines and be able to work independently
- Execute laboratory quality procedures and experiments with detail to attention
- Record experimental procedures, observation, and analyze data accurately and timely
- Self-motivated in a fast-moving team environment
- Good team player
